This window can be found in Eastland mall outside Express. What gives this window a nice sense of unity is the signage which reads "command attention" and the fact that the mannequins stance is in a "commanding" position. The window also has a nice sense of unity because of the color theme throughout the outfits fall into a neutral pallet.
I love this American Eagle window display found at Eastland mall. Not only are they straight to the point with their promotion, but they are displaying one of the most popular fall items right behind it. What is nice about this window is its visual awareness draws a customer to look at it and even being to think of different pieces to match with the shirt. What is also nice is how their windows tend to include both sexes in their displays instead of separating them, which I think is a selling key so couples can both easily relate to the store instead of one or the other.
What I love about this window is how it's emphasis is so easy to read, "Fall sale" and 50% off select styles. It makes shopping that much easier when a display's emphasis is also their current sale or promotion. I think this window has great balance and unity and is not overwhelming allowing the customers eye to read their sale then evaluate the style the store carries through the mannequins' dress.
This window display is of The Limited in Eastland mall. I feel like there is a lock of space usage, they have such a large window to use up but the objects in it are so small, maybe this is done on purpose so that customers can view their store stock? But because of the small display it lacks visual awareness. I do like how well balanced it is and how proportionate the mannequins are to each other, they are also evenly placed with the windows other props.
What is so neat about this Express window is how much visual presence it has. It is hard to not take a glance at this window when walking by, which I feel is due to not only the use of this windows space but also how close to the window the mannequins are actually placed. The closer the mannequins to the actual windows glass I have realized how much more I am drawn to them.
This American Eagle window display can be found in Eastland mall. What I love most about this window is the mood that is being set from it. It is so warm, cozy and down to earth and gives customers a sense of the chilly weather soon to come. This window is well balanced, has great unity but I feel almost a little but off with the trees being so short.

This mural can be found downtown Bloomington in an employee parking lot. What I love most about this mural is the idea of such a modern piece that is placed in an outdated area. It gives life to the town and an extra pop of color. I also like the image on the bottom right of the mural that to me depicts how much this town sees agriculture as such an important aspect to society and even how it has become so popular at ISU. It displays nice balance with an even distribution of mainly red and blues, of which red happens to be our school color.
This is the front window display of CROSSROADS FAIRTRADE located downtown Bloomington. I love all the fall season décor they placed in the window! It really has a visual appearance when walking by and sets the mood for Thanksgiving. I can almost smell cinnamon and pumpkin just looking at this display. The only thing I felt could be different was the abundance of "knick-knacks" placed on the table and shelving, it confuses the eye a little of where to look first.
This is the main window display of the Main Gallery located downtown Bloomington. I chose this window because I feel like its an example of a large amount of space that is being un-used. The gallery itself had some really great artwork that I feel they should display more of. Maybe if the taller columns were distributed equally throughout the window it wouldn't seem so off balance or thrown together.
This window display can be found downtown Bloomington. The stores name is gigi BOTTEGA. I like this window display because it is simple and shows off their products for the fall season without over doing the fall décor itself. I just feel like the mannequins should be pulled forwards a little but more and spread out just a little bit more to give the window a little more visual awareness.
This window display I found downtown Bloomington. This is a formal wear shop called Churchills. Aside from the homecoming window paint, this window display has a nice balance to it with the two larger mannequins on the outside and little ones in the middle. The display is a little bit overwhelming though with the plant on the bottom left and column of bow ties.
